D36: Lounghouton to Bamburgh
Including the Farne Islands

By the time I arrived at Seahorses and had a fish finger bap it was 4 pm but the weather was perfect for the Farne Islands so off I toddled.
I was glad for the good weather because there were some tasty tide races between the islands to test my waning endurance.
On the last crossing back to the mainland a strong offshore wind sprang up and I went through every curse word I knew as I crawled towards a splashy landing in the surf. After a final hour of trudging back and forth in the sinking sand of the dunes I finally settled down for some grub and battened down the hatches.
