3CK D1:Sharpness to Stroud

I woke up this morning to driving, rain. Got lost on the way to the start, nearly got locked in the car park and was shouted at by the guy in the marina.

Met some great new friends.

Regained top stop on the park lighthouse challenge (just).

Went wild swimming with wild trees on a deserted navigation.

Revelled in the beauty of the misty mellow fruitful nature of the newly minted Cotswold scenery.

Finally my landlady asked if I preferred to be called Marianne and seemed a tad disappointed that I am Mikey.

In short, a perfect start to a great adventure.
