D12: To Clacton (not)
Under grey skies and a friendly tail wind I set off 2 hours before the tide would turn in my favour. Half way along Foulness the skies darkened and the wind shifted blowing me offshore during the crossing to Clacton.
I missed Clacton by a lot, and had to paddle at full speed for a long while to get to any land.
My random landing spot was perfect.
